Mission Projects in 2008

TANZANIA*

    March 12 - 23  with students and friends of

        Takoma Academy

 

    July 10 - 24  yearly volunteer mission trip

Past Mission Trips

1998 - Ghana, West Africa; built church.
1999 - Ghana, West Africa; built library.
2000 - Ghana, West Africa; brought electricity, shelves, computers to library and opened it.
2002 - Ghana, West Africa; built Pepidan Church.
2003 - Ghana, West Africa; built girls dormitory for a secondary school.
2004 - Arusha, Tanzania; built an extension to an existing clinic to provide services          for AIDs, maternity and dental patients.
2005 - Arusha, Tanzania; began Havilah Orphanage Village project. Worked on first house.
2006 - Arusha, Tanzania; continued working on Havilah Orphanage Village.

2007-March - Tanzania; worked on Havilah Orphanage Village project

         - June - Ethiopia; worked on Orphanage project

         - July - Tanzania; worked on Havilah Orphanage Village project, furnished house one,

            Selected children for orphanage.  Grand opening ceremony for Havilah Village
